Estimate: minimum charge $4,500 (300
hours@$15hr.)(Factory restoration approx. 400 hrs.) This
is the Deposit fee to begin/schedule a restoration
project. (this is Jeff Smith's payment/fee to
assemble/restore/repair/contract or be a contractor for
your vehicle restoration. Other charges/estimates below: $2,000 credit card draw or deposit for local supplies and parts ie: Bearings,Fittings,Tubing,grease,oils,battery acid,fastners,primers,etc. Sandblasting,Body Work and Machine Work contracted out locally and billed separately. |

| 1 . Estimates : | ||||||||||||||||||||
| Her are
some estimates to consider: About 300-500 hours(300 for a motor pool type restoration and 400-500 for a factory type restoration) $15 hour ($4500 min. which is 300 hours) Other charges are: Engine rebuilt and machine shop, about $1,500. Transmission rebuilt about $500. axles/brakes/bearings about $350 each. paint and body work about $1,500- $2,000. Canvas top/seats about $400-$500. Tires/tubes & mounting about $450. Glass about $150. Lettering/Stars about $125. Wiring,Electrical,Gages,lights, about $500. Radiator up to $300(depending on condition). Fuel Pump about $75. Carb. about $150. tie rod ends about $100. Steering box rebuilt about $150. Sandblasting about $500. Batteries about $80 ea. Misc. $1,500-$2,000(Rubber,fastners,supplies,webbing, local parts etc.) |

| Complete estimate for your project is available upon request under the following conditions: | ||||||||||||||||||||
| A. The vehicle be delivered to our facility PRE-PAID freight or delivered in person or by your representative. | ||||||||||||||||||||
| B. A complete estimate can only be accomplished buy completely disassembling your vehicle and all it components, to inspect and evaluate all its parts. Only then can wearrive at cost for replacement parts to complete your project. A complete list will be provided on missing parts and all replacement parts and costs. | ||||||||||||||||||||
| C. Estimates for body work are also available, but due to unseen problems that can arise after body components are cleaned (sand blasted or stripped to clean metal) actualcosts may vary do to hidden corrosion, rust damage, years of back yard repairs, numerous conversions both military and civilian, discoveries are noted to customer as they arise. Due to these problems, finished costs may be substantially higher than initial estimate. | ||||||||||||||||||||
| D. We understand our customers have a budget for their projects, therefore keeping you informed and supplying a photographic record of your project is the best way to avoid surprise overruns and misunderstandings . | ||||||||||||||||||||
| E. Estimates are performed at shop rate. If you decide not to have the vehicle restored after you receive the estimate, we are unable to assemble the vehicle to its former condition. Once drive train and engine are disassembled they cannot be reassembled without additional parts and supplies. See work order for more information. | ||||||||||||||||||||
| 2. Parts : | ||||||||||||||||||||
| Customers may supply parts for their project from outside sources under the following conditions: | ||||||||||||||||||||
| A. Only if this is done in a timely manor and does not delay the restoration process. | ||||||||||||||||||||
| B. The replacement parts must be in new or near new (serviceable) condition. NOTE ** WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE TO INSTALL ANY PARTS WE DEEM AS UNSERVICEABLE. | ||||||||||||||||||||
| C. We also reserve the right to terminate any project do to prolonged delays in supplying parts or continued deliquesces with your account, these delays are counterproductive and disrupt our ability to service our customers in a timely manor. Refer to work order for details. | ||||||||||||||||||||
| 3. Billing : | ||||||||||||||||||||
| Vehicle restorations are charged on a time and material basis, billed monthly. Interest charges of 1.5% per month, work stoppage and storage charges may result if your account becomes delinquent. If not taken care of in a timely manor this may result in a work and or storage lien. We also charge a 10% fee on all parts we supply or obtain for your project to help cover costs in locating and ordering your parts. | ||||||||||||||||||||
| 4. Warranty : | ||||||||||||||||||||
| There are no implied or expressed warranties above any supplied by manufacturesof parts included in your restoration due to the antique nature of the vehicles, unless expressed in a written agreement. | ||||||||||||||||||||
| Your restored vehicle is still an antique and in most cases does not meet todays standards for safety, speed, braking and serviceability. | ||||||||||||||||||||
| 5. Appraisals / Finders fee : | ||||||||||||||||||||
| We will be happy to supply appraisals for restorations or for vehicles you may donate to tax free organisations on a cost plus basis. Please inquire as to costs. | ||||||||||||||||||||
| We will also be happy to act on your behalf in acquiring or sell a vehicle at a customary fee of 10 % plus expenses. eg. phone calls, photos, inspections,transportation, etc. | ||||||||||||||||||||
