About

About Emily Walter

Emily grew up in Helena, Montana, and attended Montana State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in microbiology. Prior to pursuing her graduate education, she worked as a Medical Assistant in family medicine, gaining valuable experience in patient care and developing a strong foundation in primary care. She went on to complete her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Touro University Nevada and became a certified Physician Assistant. In her free time, she enjoys reading, hiking, and attending concerts. She also enjoys exploring new places and taking advantage of opportunities to spend time outdoors.

Before you come in

Emily Walter — FAQs

Is Emily Walter accepting new patients?

Availability changes from week to week, so the honest answer is to ask. Request an appointment online and say you would like to see Emily, or call the Colorado number and our team will tell you what is open at Lafayette. No referral is needed for Pain Management, Chiropractic, Physical Therapy or Acupuncture, and our goal is to get you in within the same week.

Where does Emily Walter see patients?

At our Lafayette clinic in Littleton. Lafayette is not one of the four clinics where image-guided procedures are performed, so if one turns out to be the right next step it is scheduled at Northglenn or Interquest.

Do I need a referral to see Emily Walter?

No. Pain Management at Mountain View Pain Center does not require a referral, and neither do Chiropractic, Physical Therapy or Acupuncture. If your own plan requires one, our team will tell you when they verify your benefits.

Which insurance is accepted?

Mountain View Pain Center is contracted with Medicare and with most major commercial plans, and we also work with personal-injury liens and workers’ compensation. Our team can verify your benefits before your first visit.

I have several other conditions as well as the pain. Is that a problem?

It is the ordinary case rather than a complication, and it is squarely what Emily’s background prepares her for. Sixteen years in primary care before a pain fellowship means the other conditions, and everything already being taken for them, are read as part of the picture rather than as someone else’s department. Bring the full medication list — it usually shapes the plan more than anything else you bring.

Request an appointment online any time.

Day or night, seven days a week — and we’ll text you back to get you scheduled. No referral is needed, and our goal is to see you within the same week. Colorado scheduling: (720) 749-5599.
