Diagnosis Before Treatment
The first appointment is an examination. History, physical examination, imaging where the findings justify it.
That order exists because the place it hurts is often not the structure responsible. A lumbar disc referring into the hip. A facet joint producing a headache. A nerve root that presents as a weak foot with no back pain at all. Treating the symptom without identifying the source is how people accumulate a run of procedures that each work briefly.
Conditions We Treat
Low back pain, and the work of separating discogenic from facet-mediated from sacroiliac pain — they present alike and need different treatment.
Sciatica and radiating leg pain, which is a symptom rather than a diagnosis and has at least four common causes.
Neck pain and cervicogenic headache — headaches generated by the upper cervical spine, frequently managed as migraine for years.
Shoulder, hip and knee pain, including the question of whether the joint is at fault or the spine is referring into it.
Work injuries, treated and documented for the claim.
Conservative Care First
Most pain treated here never needs a needle. Chiropractic with Dr Palazzo, physical therapy, activity and load guidance — available in this building without a new referral or a second intake.
When an interventional option is warranted, the choices are epidural steroid injection, medial branch block and radiofrequency ablation, sacroiliac joint injection and peripheral joint injection. Each is diagnostic as well as therapeutic: the response identifies the structure responsible and determines what follows.

Heat, and Why It Matters Clinically
A practical Arizona point that gets overlooked. Dehydration and prolonged heat exposure make muscular pain and cramping considerably worse, and a summer of it can turn a manageable mechanical problem into a persistent one.
If your pain is markedly worse in July than it was in February, that is worth mentioning at the examination rather than treating as coincidence.
