Colorado State University — Bachelors of Science in Health and Exercise Science & Concorde Career College — Associates of Applied Science for Physical Therapist Assistant Kayla is a Colorado native who transferred to CSU after going to Ohio Wesleyan to play field hockey and lacrosse. While at CSU, Kayla was a two time All-American in lacrosse. After graduating she worked as a physical therapist aide at a sports outpatient clinic. From there she went to PTA school to continue her passion for Physical Therapy. Kayla knew she wanted to work in the Physical Therapy field back when she was in high school and after dealing with injuries while playing multiple sports. She is an active member of the Colorado chapter of the APTA and believes in a full body approach to healing, which not only includes the physical aspect but the mental aspect too. In her free time, Kayla likes to enjoy the outdoors, whether it’s snowboarding in the winter or hiking in the summer and going to concerts.
Kayla sees patients at Southeast Aurora. That page lists the address, the hours and what a first visit involves.

It is the ordinary case rather than a complication, and it is squarely what Kayla’s background prepares her for. Sixteen years in primary care before a pain fellowship means the other conditions, and everything already being taken for them, are read as part of the picture rather than as someone else’s department. Bring the full medication list — it usually shapes the plan more than anything else you bring.
