Dr. Kenneth Lintner, is from the Northwest Chicago Suburbs. Before starting his educational journey, he was a Sergeant in The United States Marine Corps as an avionics technician. After his enlisted service, he obtained his bachelor's degree in Health and Exercise Science, Sports Medicine from Colorado State University. Dr. Lintner then earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life Chiropractic College West, in the Bay Area of California where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He is passionate about helping patients achieve their health goals by utilizing a variety of techniques including Diversified, Thompson Drop, Activator and Gonstead. Outside of adjusting techniques, Dr. Lintner also utilizes other methods to alleviate patients pain levels and restore normal function such as dry needling, electrical stimulation, kinesiology tape, Graston/IASTM and manual soft tissue mobilization. Regardless if pain is chronic or acute, his main goal is to improve quality of life. Outside of work he enjoys snowboarding and spending time outdoors hiking, camping and fishing.
A lot of advice for back pain quietly assumes the patient can stop doing the thing that hurts. In Weld County that is often not on offer. The shift is the shift, the calving is the calving, and the load is going on the trailer whether or not the low back agrees. Dr. Lintner works with that as the constraint rather than the problem, which means the plan is built around getting through the week rather than around avoiding it.
He came to this from the Marine Corps, where he served as a sergeant and worked as an avionics technician, then studied sports medicine at Colorado State and graduated magna cum laude from Life Chiropractic College West. Adjusting is one part of the visit. Dry needling, soft tissue work, electrical stimulation and taping are the other tools he uses, chosen by what the tissue needs rather than by habit.
The problems he sees most are lower back pain, neck pain, sciatica, herniated discs, headaches and migraines and injuries after a car accident.
Three techniques are used here, and which one you get depends on you rather than on habit. Diversified is the hands-on adjustment most people picture, with the audible release. Drop-table, also called Thompson, uses a table section that drops a short distance so the force needed is much lower. Activator is a small spring-loaded instrument that delivers a single controlled impulse and no twisting at all — which is what makes it the usual choice for someone nervous, someone older, or a joint too irritable to handle more.
Two other things are available alongside: spinal decompression, a motorised traction table used for disc-related leg or arm symptoms, and dry needling for the muscular component that survives the adjustment.
The part that matters most is what happens when Chiropractic is not the answer. Physical Therapy, Pain Management and Acupuncture are in the same building and on the same chart, so a change of direction is a conversation rather than a new referral and another wait.

Mountain View Pain Center is contracted with Medicare and with most major commercial plans, and we also work with personal-injury liens and workers’ compensation. Medicare covers spinal manipulation only — not the examination, the modalities or the therapies around it, which are billed separately. Our team can verify your benefits before your first visit.
Availability changes from week to week, so the honest answer is to ask. Request an appointment online and say you would like to see Dr. Lintner, or call and our team will tell you what is open at Greeley. No referral is needed, and our goal is to get you in within the same week.
Usually, and it is worth saying that out loud at the first visit so the plan accounts for it. Care built around a patient who will be lifting on Monday looks different from care built around rest, and pretending otherwise just produces a plan nobody follows.
Get examined, and tell us it happened at work, because a work injury is documented differently from the start and it is much easier to do that correctly on day one than to reconstruct it later. Our team will walk you through what your employer needs.
No. Chiropractic at Mountain View Pain Center does not require a referral, and neither do Physical Therapy, Pain Management or Acupuncture. If your own plan requires one, our team will tell you when they verify your benefits.
Medicare covers spinal manipulation only. The examination, imaging and any therapies performed alongside the adjustment are not covered under Medicare for chiropractic, so our team goes through what is covered and what is not before your first visit rather than after it.
