Dr. Zosia Roberts is a graduate of Liberty University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. She continued her education at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, Florida where she earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic. Dr. Roberts offers comprehensive Chiropractic care for all ages. Using a variety of hands-on manual and instrument assisted techniques, her care is tailored to suit your unique needs and preferences. She is well versed in instrument assisted soft tissue techniques, myofascial release, KT taping, and dry needling. Additionally, Dr. Roberts is Webster certified by the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association to offer specialized prenatal care during pregnancy. Dr. Roberts loves all the different ways Chiropractic can be applied to facilitate the body’s innate healing – helping you live life to the fullest! When she’s not treating patients, you can find her staying active, exploring the mountains with her pup Tess, and spending time with family and friends.
Low back pain, pelvic pain and a sacroiliac joint that will not settle are common in the second and third trimesters, and the usual advice to wait it out is cold comfort when there are four months left. Dr. Roberts holds the Webster certification through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, which is training in assessing and adjusting the pelvis and the soft tissue around it in a pregnant patient, using side-lying positioning and tables set up for a changing body. It is care aimed at the joint and the ligament, and it sits alongside your obstetric care rather than in place of any part of it.
The rest of her practice is broad. She adjusts by hand and with instruments, works with soft tissue and dry needling, and sees patients of every age at Interquest. What connects it is that the technique is chosen around the person on the table: an irritable joint, a nervous first-time patient and a body carrying an extra thirty pounds in front all call for different handling, and the certification simply means one of those cases is something she has trained specifically for.
The problems she sees most are lower back pain, neck pain, sciatica, herniated discs, headaches and migraines and injuries after a car accident.
Three techniques are used here, and which one you get depends on you rather than on habit. Diversified is the hands-on adjustment most people picture, with the audible release. Drop-table, also called Thompson, uses a table section that drops a short distance so the force needed is much lower. Activator is a small spring-loaded instrument that delivers a single controlled impulse and no twisting at all — which is what makes it the usual choice for someone nervous, someone older, or a joint too irritable to handle more.
Two other things are available alongside: spinal decompression, a motorised traction table used for disc-related leg or arm symptoms, and dry needling for the muscular component that survives the adjustment.
The part that matters most is what happens when Chiropractic is not the answer. Physical Therapy, Pain Management and Acupuncture are in the same building and on the same chart, so a change of direction is a conversation rather than a new referral and another wait.

Medicare covers spinal manipulation only — not the examination, the modalities or the therapies around it, which are billed separately. Our team can verify your benefits before your first visit.

Adjusting during pregnancy is routine care, and Dr. Roberts is Webster certified for it, which covers positioning, table set-up and technique for a pregnant patient. It addresses joint and ligament pain. It is not a substitute for your obstetric care, and anything outside that scope should be raised with the clinician managing your pregnancy.
A specific assessment and adjustment of the pelvis and the surrounding soft tissue, certified through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. In practice it is used for pelvic and low back pain in pregnancy, and the aim is the joint and the ligament rather than anything else.
No. Chiropractic at Mountain View Pain Center does not require a referral, and neither do Physical Therapy, Pain Management or Acupuncture. If your own plan requires one, our team will tell you when they verify your benefits.
Medicare covers spinal manipulation only. The examination, imaging and any therapies performed alongside the adjustment are not covered under Medicare for chiropractic, so our team goes through what is covered and what is not before your first visit rather than after it.
