The nearest clinics, and how close they actually are

Mountain View Pain Center does not have a clinic in Louisville. It barely needs one: the Lafayette clinic at 300 Exempla Circle sits a few minutes up South Boulder Road, close enough that most of Louisville reaches it faster than it reaches the far side of Boulder.

The second option is Northglenn, at 11990 Grant Street, straight down US-36 and across on I-25. That is the longer trip, and the reason to make it is that Northglenn is where interventional procedures are performed for this side of the state.

Both run the same model: Pain Management, Physical Therapy, Chiropractic and Acupuncture in one building, on one treatment plan. Whichever you start at, the record follows you to the other.

Getting there

Roads, and who comes from where

South Boulder Road is the direct line east into Lafayette. From the south end of town, Dillon Road and CO-42 do the same job. US-36 handles anyone coming from Superior or heading down towards the north metro.

People book with us from Old Town Louisville, Coal Creek Ranch, Centennial Valley, Steel Ranch and the North End, and from Superior, Erie and the Boulder County towns either side.

No referral is needed for any of our services, benefits are checked before the first visit, and appointments are usually available within the same week. Real-time translation is available through Lumi.

What happens

What the first appointment is for

The first visit is an examination and a history rather than a treatment handed over at the door. A provider works out what is actually generating the pain, says so plainly, and sets out what the plan would be and roughly how long it should take.

The problems people bring are the ordinary ones, usually after months of putting up with them:

  • Low back pain and sciatica.
  • Neck pain, and headaches that trace back to the neck.
  • A herniated disc, with or without symptoms traveling into an arm or a leg.
  • Knee, hip and shoulder pain that has not settled on its own.
  • Neuropathy and nerve pain.
  • Injuries from a car accident or from work.

Where an injection or an interventional procedure turns out to be the right step, it is performed in office at our Northglenn clinic, and the Lafayette team arranges it and manages the care on either side of it.

FAQs

Is there a Mountain View Pain Center clinic in Louisville?

No. Lafayette, at 300 Exempla Circle, is the nearest and is a few minutes east along South Boulder Road. Northglenn on Grant Street is the other option.

How long does it take to get to Lafayette from Louisville?

For most of Louisville it is a short drive east on South Boulder Road, or across on Dillon Road and CO-42 from the south end of town.

Do I need a referral?

No. You can book directly for Pain Management, Physical Therapy, Chiropractic or Acupuncture, and appointments are usually available within the same week.

Where would a procedure be done?

In office at our Northglenn clinic on Grant Street. The Lafayette team arranges it and handles the care before and after.

Can I see a physician and a chiropractor without going to two places?

Yes. Both clinics run Pain Management, Physical Therapy, Chiropractic and Acupuncture in the same building, working from one chart.

What does the first appointment involve?

An examination and a history. You leave knowing what is being treated and what the plan is, not with a treatment handed over on arrival.

Will my insurance cover it?

Most major commercial plans are accepted and most Medicare Advantage plans are in network in Colorado. Benefits are verified before you come in.

My pain started in a car accident. What then?

Care is billed to the med-pay portion of the auto policy, to a lien where an attorney is involved, or to your health plan. That is set up at the first visit.

Pain that has outlasted rest and time is worth a second look.

No referral is needed to be evaluated, appointments are usually available within the same week, and benefits are checked before the first visit.
